Naked 2 Palette Look #3: Nude 90s

Welcome to another look in my Obligatory Naked Palette Tutorial Series!

I had to include this decade, as it contained the years that fostered my curiosity about, appreciation for, and obsession surrounding the wonders of makeup.

I remember devouring Kevyn Aucoin’s Making Faces beginning to end countless times (as evidenced by it’s now detached binding); being sucked in to any beauty related article or aesthetically pleasing ad in beauty magazines; and finding myself enamored with the exquisite beauty that was the 90s supermodel.

Luckily, I not only had myself and occasional friends to practice on, but a real life model in the form of my younger sister, who could never say no 😉

My 1990’s look embodies my interpretation of the makeup for the decade, namely a nude lip, discernible lip line and all; nude shadows sporting a more shimmery brow highlight, thinner defined brows, black lash lines, and bronzer for blush.

In the 1990s, for me, it was all about the nude lips and black liner.
