My beautiful sister Emilia recently lent me her face, in between baby feedings and bouts of negotiation with one very convincing five year old, and here is the result. It happened to be a gorgeous sunny day; and we became inspired by warm sunny hues
For her base, I used Bobbi Brown’s cream foundation and concealer palette, and set with translucent powder. I kept it sheer to let her freckles show.
On her eyes, I used MAC’s soft ochre paintpot, and a combination of Viseart’s basic matte and paris nude palettes. Not pictured is MAC’s white lilly pigment, which I used to highlight the inner corners of her eyes.
I used the matte black eyeshadow and a small liner brush to line her top and bottom eyelids, and lined her waterline with a soft metallic violet eye liner from the brand THREE.
The crap photo of the eyeliner is nothing that Google can’t remedy; google you must.
Mascara blah blah blah blah…..false lashes…blah blah…..
I bronzed and blushed up Emilia’s grill with all MAC products. I used “give me sun” bronzer to warm up the perimeter of her face, added “tenderling” blush to the contours of her cheeks and a small amount of “peaches” blush to the apples of her cheeks.
How do you like THEM apples?!
For the lips, I used a pinky nude lip-liner, and some combination of lipstick shades from another Bobbi Brown palette, aiming for a neutral “her lips but better” color.
Needless to say, with a five year old and a one year old, my sis doesn’t get to spend too much time on herself so it was nice to get her a little dolled up, even if only for a day
Thank you Bedelia!! Lots of love! XOXOXOXO
